WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — This ain't their first rodeo.The third annual Williamson County Fair and Rodeo returns on Wenesday and runs through Saturday at the Williamson County Expo Center, located at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor. The festivities will include carnival rides, a rodeo, a beer and wine garden, food, local craft vendors, music, pig races and a petting zoo.The fair is offering free gate admission to all attendees tonight. This evening will also feature a junior rodeo.On Thursday, free admission will be available for veterans, first responders and active military members as part of the Central Texas Community Foundation Veterans Night, per the release.The rodeo will take place in the evenings on Friday and Saturday, with concerts held after the rodeo. GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) – Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration will visit two Georgetown Independent School District Elementary schools by helicopter on Wednesday to bring an anti-drug message to students, the district said.The agents will be on board a Texas Joint Counterdrug Task Force (JCDTF) helicopter that will make stops at Purl Elementary and Wolf Ranch Elementary, according to the district announcement. ST. LOUIS - Multiple break-ins overnight at south St. Louis businesses have the police very busy at this hour.'Broadway Mart,' on the 4200 block of South Broadway, not far at all from I-55, is one of the businesses that was hit in the string of overnight break-ins. Significant damage was done to the door at the scene. It appears that broken lights from a vehicle of some sort are outside the door.FOX 2 reporters actually noticed the damage when arriving to do live shots in front of an 'O'Reilly Auto Parts' store very close to there, which was also broken into. Police are also at that location.The break-ins started at the 'Family Dollar' on the 4600 block of Gravois. LOUIS - There is opposition Wednesday morning to an 'Unhoused Bill of Rights' proposal in St. Louis City.Mayor Tishaura Jones and three aldermen are now voicing opposition to the current plan, citing various legal concerns, including conflicts with state law. The plan would decriminalize homelessness. It would require a concealed carry license to openly carry a gun in an unincorporated county. That blocks teens from open carrying because minors can't get a concealed carry license.
