NICHOLAS AIR Reviews Three Latest Trends in Aviation

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 09:20:51 GMT

Private aviation stays in a constant state of flux, with manufacturers wanting to push out new aircraft models, the consistent innovation in technology, and with the sellers of the product looking for ways to package the product and make it attractive to the consumer. As NICHOLAS AIR reviews, a company must have a clear strategic direction and the financial resources available to capitalize on what the market can offer and all of the new changes.AirframeAs engineering in aircraft continues to be refined, manufacturers are looking for new ways to get customers into the current model airframe. By doing this, they are not only helping their revenue and deliverability statistics but are able to streamline their production of parts and components. Bringing everyone up to the current model of aircraft may be lucrative for the manufacturer, yet very costly to the customer. As such, only those with a stable outlook on their business and a healthy balance sheet can make the responsible decis...

What Does a Ford Shelby and Termite Swarming Season Have in Common?

At Home: And the 2023 Color of the Year is … light, dark, warm and cool

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 09:20:51 GMT

It’s a gimmick. Yet I always fall for it.Every year at this time paint companies announce their (cue the drumroll) Color of the Year, or COTY, as insiders call it. They roll out the paint color they most want you to roll on your walls — or ceilings or cabinets. Though I have never actually painted anything a COTY, I eagerly await these announcements, which are like the Oscars for color.Except, unlike the Oscars, COTYs are not chosen in retrospect. Rather, color judges look at what is going on in the world ─ socially, artistically, politically ─ to divine what will be the next most-coveted color, the one consumers will feel like living with or in.Whether COTYs accurately predict trends is hard to say. However, what’s is clear, and more interesting to me than any single paint company’s COTY, is what all the collective COTYs in a given year say about future (and past) color trends.Related ArticlesHome and Garden | When lightning strikes, will your house be ready?
